It also doesn't help that Snow Logics only send product where you want it when the wind is zero. The pipe is also on the wrong side for half of the trail. I would have moved them somewhere else and replaced with Impulses after one season with them there.
Just a lot of snow going into the trees on the turn below Allyn's. Maybe better down lower where pipes are on the other side...

Guns have been going all night there. There's more snow on the trees than the trail, bare spots still showing.

First Saturday Morning I have seen in years that the main lot is not full at 10am. Maybe my evil plan is working. I mean skiing isn't great but it is surely skiable and I am totally conditioned to these conditions. I have 15+ years of icey moguls under my belt. LOL

Murphy's a bit crowded. Head on a swivel.

Based on the pace of current snowmaking operations, I’m guessing water may be an issue currently. The temps couldn’t be better and sugarbush is very very slowly expanding, only making snow on ~4 trails. Anyone have some intel?

Depending on which 4 trails and how many guns running on those trails, that could be fairly normal given the capacity at LP...the trails I see listed on the report have a decent amount of potential acreage depending on exactly how much of each they are making snow on...

Not a dry gun on the trails today - every single one is pumping out copious amounts of water. Not exactly easy to ski on.

Got out at 10 today. Challenging choices between skied off boiler plate with chunks and/or wet snowguns over icy bobseld runs with giant bootholes.

Maybe they can save water if they increased the air or what ever adjustment needs to be
Made to make snow in lieu of concrete, when it freezes we have base/ice for the season.
I know this was disused in previous years but after 4 days of grooming we still have death cookies that rise to the surface, I guess this is the best the grooming machines can do.
