Watching the local weather and seeing the forecasters, talent, and other TV personnel whine about an upcoming storm while I'm doing a jig in my family room.

Wait, I actually love that.

Yea I do that too. The only house job I do with a big smile is fire up the Snow Blower. It drives the wife crazy. The people I work with are not skiers and just don't get it.

As much as I like snow, it sucks for business. I already have had half of tomorrow's appointments cancel. It's inevitable that the only people that will not cancel are old ladies with nasty cats that want to come in a half hour before our normal closing time.

Living in the flatlands where people freak out, shut up shop and hibernate. It is pretty useless here, looks nice, but then turns to shat pretty quickly.

The mess the walkways and the driveways are going to be when I come back into work Monday morning..we only get about 2 ice storms a year..luckily we have 600 pounds of salt in the shed and if I'm outside doing snow removal..I won't be filing and making collection calls..

Another one, fresh experience:

Trying to chip all that 2" worth of hard ice off the car!!!

Fortunately this time, there's an inch of soft snow underneath that hard ice shell. I was able to "tunnel" under the ice and crack them loose! Once I made the first crack through that outer ice shell, that is.
