Have a good weekend Bill? Certainly a change in your tone from last week where you were ready to can it. Keep skiing my friend.

Having a good weekend is not linked to the weather. I indicated last week I don't normally air my thought process prior to pulling last minute triggers. As mentioned, I will no longer expose you to the suffering process. I do this over and over again each time. I spoke privately to the Voodoo Lady about prognostications. Something is brewing. Air silence will prevail.

Starting skiing this season I realized how much just being outdoors is a big part of the experience. I've been swimming for exercise and consequently haven't been outdoors much in the Fall. I feel sorry for people who are cooped up all Winter, no wonder they hate it. Of course, so far this Winter they've been able to do a lot of their outdoor Fall activities. Hopefully they'll be driven indoors shortly. I really like traveling to ski too, especially to places I've never been before.

I never complained about your posts or you airing your doubts about economic wisdom of skiing in what has been so far a lame year. I just saw that you got out this past weekend and your posts seem to have taken on a happier tone. I think thats great. I happen to like your posts and the information gleemed from them. I was encouraging you to ski. Hey yesterday was the worst skiing I have done all year and yet I'm ready to go out and hit it again. Make lemonade from lemons. I'm still on the bandwagon that says its going to get better (much better). Please keep skiing and posting my friend.

Everyone starts with a full bucket of guts and an empty bucket of skill. The object is to fill the empty before the full runs out.

Indeed. I need them off the highway, stranded in their nests.

Equipment is packed and ready. Krispy Cream, Yoohoo, popcorn, corned beef hash, pickles, chips and Long Trail Ale. Enough supplies for five days. Oops, I forgot the skis boots and poles.
