I meant to respond to one of the GSS threads, but a bunch of them got locked.

I'm in the "don't care" category about GSS. I could take him or leave him.

I do notice that I'm not visiting this site as much anymore. It might be that it's summer, and I'm not skiing, so I'm not looking for skiing stuff. Or it might be that the Mountain Biking forum sucks compared to mtbr. Or it might be that the Mountain Bike trip reports are way more Connecticut centered than the skiing trip reports.

Or it might be that the people who used to post entertaining threads aren't around anymore.

Maybe it's just June blues (I'm sure - based on a complete hunch - that June and July are the least popular months for the forum historically). Either way, I just wanted to say that I'm not reading the forum as much. I don't care who's allowed to post in the forum and who's not. It's not my decision, and it's not my business.

I'll read stuff that entertains, challenges, or interests me. Lately, this forum ain't doin' it.

Definitely slower around here this time of year. About 1/4 of the winter.

If you are a mt biker, post up some trip reports there. I've got a few ideas I'm working on to expand that part of the site... but yeah historically AZ is 80% of the visitors in the winter.

Thanks for the feedback. Keep posting about mountain biking in other areas. That room is still very new and it needs help.

Nice to see you posting mattchuck. Yeah, the cycling forums are pretty CT based, that's where most of the active users in that forum live. I'd love to get some more content from other areas in the northeast, or even elsewhere. Even I'm a little bored with all the CT stuff..

I just realized that is probably why the site seems slower this year than last year (recent turmoil excluded).... we aren't seeing half a dozen RAW TRs from CT every single damn day. Much easier to find the posts that I want to read, this year.

 ;)

I still think you guys just throw down the bikes and do body slams and clotheslines with all the RAW's on that mt. biking board.....

For at least a year, I hadn't a clue what RAW meant. I too thought it was some sort of reference to wrestling.
