Couldn't go to Hunter today, oldest son had a soccer tournament this afternoon.

We had 4-5" in the driveway and I had a few hours this morning, so I went to Thunder Ridge.

I know, it's just a bump. So what!

The upper part of the hill was open with enough powder to provide many yuks for 2 1/2 hours. The best part is few of the folks who go there like to ski powder, all the more for me. After obvious lines got played I put my signature in a few reserved spots.

It was fun. Not bad for 15 minutes from my door.

You guys should take a few pix of these smaller areas. I'd like to get a sense for what they look like from a skier/boarder's perspective.
