Love my Kore 93's and 105's.True. I’m also thinking of the Monsters as being damp and durable. So far my Kores (87, 95ish) are great.

I need to look into this. I didn’t realize that the “Grip Walk” was such a big change. Maybe that’s why my older ski/binding combo is not working as great….Did precisely this on my new boots that I bought this year.
Okay, goodI have 3 kores...92,105,118.
I only ski the 105 now.
I managed to break a pair of the 92s...they are very light. The 105s have been holding up pretty well. I would not consider them bomb proof...but are pretty easy to swing around.
Not good on ice...a bit floppy.
She's jealous you can ski when you want?My toughest and favorite are my old Line Prophets. 400+ days minimal damage and they've been all over scratchy east coast woods.
Bit off topic. I ski with a crew that my daughter refers to as the AARP crew. At 50 I'm the youngest. Most are mid 60's and up. What I learned from them is how to be lighter on my feet. Helps my joints maybe it helps the skis as well.
