Pretty amazing snowfall rate in RI right now. Someone will get 16-18". Never looked forward to Yawgoo before.
I've always joked about Yawgoo and BH, but never actually checked out either... wondering if tomorrow is the day

I'm not sure even mohawk and sundown are getting much out of this. looks like a cutoff right over 84.
Is anyone trying to make it to the Poconos tomorrow?
That's right. I live right above 84 (2 miles north), in western ct, and I've got an inch and a half. This storm was a bust. According to the weather channel's website I should have a foot of snow: http://www.b.weather.com/weather/today/USCT0023:1:US
Was supposed to go up to VT with friends. But they claim its going to be to cold....
I just looked up info on Blue Hills, never been. I guess they're opening at 11 tomorrow - I thought that was late but it's actually earlier than normal for a Wednesday! Does anyone know if they usually leave fresh ungroomed or what?

Limited grooming today which means probably 1 or 2 trails will be left untouched. They will probably clean it up for school groups later on.
Too much bitter cold/wind and not enough snow to make the trip worthwhile.I'm going to hope that with more cold weather forecast they will make more at Camelback or get some natural by next wed. Already have plans to go then and it looks like the brutal cold is supposed to moderate some by the weekend.
A foot of snow is outside my door now. I wish it had gone northwest!
Thing is, they only have 1 or 2 trails;-)
I would think Yawgoo was the jackpott for snowfall in NE this storm which seems strange that as of 9am there is no mention of new snow on their website.
