Saturday looks like the money day. -9 in the Poconos right now with some pretty stiff winds. Roads don't actually look too bad but I think I'll wait for the cold to subside a bit as well.

You couldn't pay me to go there on a Saturday so Wed 1/29 still is my plan. Just as well as my daughter has class today. I went out this morning and it was bitter cold and windy. Supposed to moderate some over the weekend but stay cold so hopefully they will get snow and make some. Sure to be crowded over the weekend.

Camelback says they only got 2-3 inches which seems about right as we got about 4-6 here in NNJ. However the snowmaking onslaught continues and conditions should be getting awfully good. Expect it will be busy this weekend but less then last.

It wasn't so bad out today because there was minimal wind and the sun was shining, but that was in NJ. I can imagine it was bitter up north.

Get used to it. This cold isn't going away anytime soon. Supposed to be in the 20s next week here in NJ and that's warming up!
