Sounds like a great guy. Sorry to hear about this. His friends and family should be proud that he died serving his country.

Regardless of where he was from, or what else he did. This always makes me really sad. Definitely a hero in my book. As were the other young men, most younger than myself, mentioned in the article.

Such a shame to see these fine young people go , way before their time . They serve with honor , they sacrifice and we whatever out politics owe them a debt of gratitude and remembrance --RIP

This news just brings back to many memories of a gone by era .. some things never seem to change or is it we just never seem to learn ..


I have similar feelings - i guess at my age i've simply seen too much and am saddened by our collective ignorance by failing to learn that " nations preparing for war are "the Ultimate self-fulfilling prophesy"

My heartfelt sympathy and support is there for our troops
