Too Steep & Narrow for Grooming

Officially I think Upper Darby does have snowmaking (i.e., the pipes are there, perhaps because it's right near Cloud for most of the run, and then Open Pit at the way bottom), though you are right that it has never had it. The steep part is extremely short. Very rarely open, and there have probably been seasons when it hasn't even opened. Fun trail though despite being short.

It could probably get a few guns on it due to the proximity of the pipes, but as of last winter's trail map it is listed as the only non-glade diamond with no snowmaking.

Very short run, but it is a blast nonetheless.

For years it was always listed as having snowmaking on the trail maps. I'm not sure about recent maps, since I memorized most of Gore's trail maps years ago. But historically, it has been marked as a snow making trail. I have no proof (www.skimaps.com seems to not scan in the legends part of the map, at least for Gore), but perhaps some one else can verify (I am positive, for what it's worth).
