I remember going down that trail as a novice during vacation week...lots of carnage, and the steep(er) section after the point where Balance Rock/Ropers Road joins was all bumped up and quite tough for me at the time.Conifer Connection at Wachusett.

I think the line should be drawn somewhere in the middle of the state. Like anything south of 84 should be grouped in with NYC, and the rest is part of New England.
Or we could just group them by baseball alliances. All Yankee fans live in a NYC suburb and all Sox fans live in New England.
