Crazy....yet...

....seems to have been a solid foundation of both mental and physical preparedness. Certainly a step or two past the edge. Wow !

This just proves that there are people who can and will do anything. Can't imagine what that must have been like.
Oh, lets not forget to give this back to TGR when we're done..they get a little testy over there.

I bow to the masters of the backcountry.

My wife would divorce me if I came home from a trip and showed her pics of me attempting that.

Righteous... I must say knife edges are scary scary things.

Like these guys, I am five times more comfortable on my skis than I will ever be on my feet in places like these. What do you guys think, feet or skis?

Skiing is the easy part; climbing is usually pretty scary and sometimes terrifying.

I'm somewhat suprised that they were not roped together. Being on a knife edge and all. If one had fallen one way, the other could have jumped the other way, counter balancing each other... Maybe the conditions did not permit. Either way it was a ballsy line, did you see the pictures of them in the choke point? Crazy!

Perhaps they aren't roped so that if one goes the other won't. I don't really own the mindset, but in a situation like that you're definitely there by personal choice. If you've reached your limit and can't go on, you stop like one guy did. It's all on you.

That choke point at the ski out was the other shot that really caught my eye. Because their skis are on, it's not at all scary but it's a great camera angle and some damned fine skiing.
