Well, it looks like lift-serviced skiing officially gets underway on Thursday! Woohoo! I just wanted to remind everyone to please post trip reports after each outing. Some suggestions for formatting your TRs can be found here. Also, if you have photos, please publish them in our Gallery. Instructions for doing so can be found here. Reading other members' trip reports is one of the best things about this community!

It really is a cool pic. I don't think we could have planned that if we wanted to.

The video almost looks like I did it on purpose, but I can assure that I didn't...

oh man, the video made me wince. that type of fall is the classic acl blaster.

but i'd kill for that kind of snow right now.

I was thinking the same thing when I re-watched it just now. Luckily it didn't seem to cause any damage.

The snow sure was sweet that day. Nice way to start the season! :snow:

there's a lesson in there. You went down, to the side, instead of trying to recover from the backseat. smart move for sure.

nice turns beforehand btw.
