So far this month I have skied 9 days. I have skied these mountains:

Watatic
Crotched
Bolton Valley
Cannon
Jay Peak
Mad River Glen
Wachusett
Black Mt
Mt. Washington
Wildcat

Although costing a bit more not having a season pass is fun.

While not quite as expansive, I have enjoyed similar variety this month. I think I have hit four different areas recently (Jay, Cannon, Magic, and Black) which is significant for me since I have a season pass.

Umm? That's 10. Are you not counting Watatic?

One thing that is lacking so far for me is variety. I've only skied Hunter, Killington, Sugarbush and Sundown. Since the middle of December it's not only been Sundown exclusively, but pretty much only the same trail and in many cases the same line. I do feel a need to get around and that will definitely happen during the last 2/3 of this season.

I'll be at 9 resorts after this trip to Jackson/Grand Targhee...I'd like to hit 15-20 days this season and 90+ days total..100 would be better but 90 is legit

its the one thing that has been driving me bananas about this year. I didnt get a pass at sundown cause i didnt want to pigeon hole myself into skiing the same place too often. well, i've skied there 9 out of my 12 days and i'm paying for day tickets.

things havent exactly worked out like i hoped.

killington for 2 days coming up. but even that is a repeat as i've been there twice already. although it was in november with nothing open so i guess it'll be like a new place, for this year.

i need to get up north alot in the next 3 months to make up for it.

I've had great variety so far this season as well. Though the past few times out have all been at Tenney. I'll be mixing up again after this weekend though with Cannon on Superbowl Sunday and then a trip to VT the weekend after.

Today was the first of 26 days skied that I didn't ski at Camelback this season. I was at my sons race at Jack Frost. I really don't know if it counts as a day cause I mostly shot pictures of the race, but I did buy a ticket and took several runs. That being said I'm hittin the road Pres day weekend and then once the race seasons over will travel 2 maybe 3 times to the great white north for my favorite time to ski - spring.

Today was day 24 for me all at Mount Snow. I may very well have 35+ more days this season, all at Mount Snow. Enough stuff here to keep it from feeling monotonous to me. Plus, with my kids in the kids programs here, atleast for the next couple of seasons, a HUGE percentage of my ski days will be at Mount Snow

Alta (7), Solitude (1), Snowbasin (1), Bellayre (1), Bromley (2). Probably Hunter or Windham tomorrow.

This season I am hoping to ski some Vermont mountains I haven't been to before like Stowe.

Mansfield, Whiteface, Norwich, Sugarbush north and south, MRG, Turkey hill, South Northfield gravel pit....Hardwick Back Country...Snowiest 2 months on the way and work should ease up after pres. week...good snowpack down....could use one more thaw/freeze to really lock the low elevation woods in....hopefully I get too 5-6 more spots this winter as well as cycling thru the spot's I've already tagged again. I like not having a season pass too....lapping the same place over and over and over...not as fun as skiing thru terrain for the first time...for me.

This season won't be as much variety as the last two season just because of family obligations and my son's school schedule. I mostly get 2 hour or so sessions at local areas while my son is in school. No trip to Bromley this year because we have a baby coming mid-February. It's been fun though skiing with my son on weekends.

I've been to Wachusett too many times, Okemo, and Magic thus far this month and that may be it. Next month is a different story... hoping to get Wachusett, Killington, Mt. Snow, Berkshire East, Burke, and maybe Magic again.

March should be good too... Wachusett, Sugarbush, MRG, Stowe, Mt. Snow, maybe more.

Work sucks, but it gets me this so I can't complain too much.

Yup, not having a season pass is fun....and it can be pretty damn cheap...to this point at least. We'll see where the next month goes.

I've skied seven times this season and have paid:

Wachusett: Free e-mail ticket
Waterville: Warren Miller ticket, part of $18 movie price
Smuggler's: Warren Miller ticket, part of $18 movie price
Wildcat: Free midweek ticket received when buying the $130 3-day Wildcard at the Boston ski show
Wildcat: Free birthday
Wildcat: Day one of my wild card
Stratton: Free text ticket.

Having the VT travel card is really going to open up the variety the next few months too.

Sadly, this is pretty much exactly my story as well. I do hope to change that soon though.

We'll hit Stratton once this season. We have passes to Mt. Snow...so that's were we spend 99% of our time.
