Even though he blocked with the Dems, it's been kind of nice to have one Senator who wasn't a Democrat or a Republican.

His defection from the Republicans is a hint of what might ahave been had they not played the war card so skillfully.

I was amazed that McMullen ran the last time after he was beat in the primary, in the previous election, by an old farmer, "Spread" Fred, beat him spending about $3 on his campaign. You would think McMullen would have a clue by now.

Sanders is probably the only non-Republican that can win the post. I hope he runs...6 years has got to be way better than 2 years, from his perspective.

Not so sure he will run. He already has a lot of seniority and clout in the House...he will need a guarantee of sorts to move to the Senate. :-?
