So I'm finally getting around to putting together an edited video from a trip to Jay with my boys. This is my first time type of thing and would love some advice from some "pros" out there. I'm using Adobe Premier Elements, which seems to be pretty cool and have a lot of flexibility. I'm just about finished. Video is about 10+ minutes and I started to "extract" it and save a file in it's final form and it's already over 1 GB and it's only 1/2 done!! What can I do to shrink the size down? I'm imagining uploading this to YouTube, but will likely have to do that on an overnight shift here.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

Later,
Ryan

I don't know anything about Adobe Premier Elements, but I'd have to imagine that there is a way to save the output as a smaller file/resolution.

Yeah, like Greg said, look to save it at a smaller resolution or lower quality, especially if the end result is going to be uploading it to YouTube.
