This might be old news, but I thought people here would appreciate some of these old skiing pics.

I guess the people were tougher back then, one woman is in the equivalent of a sweater and she looks happy. Tuesday in VT I had like 1000 dollars in gear on, and I was just comfortable. Cool photos.

EDIT: it has been very cold last couple days.

I like the guy covered with snow, second from left. He's the one with the biggest smile!


The idea of carrying a whip while skiing could have a lot of use in unruly lift lines

The 5th photo in that album is interesting to me because it shows what appears to be a more modern metal toe piece binding releasing as John Lennon takes a spill in 1965. I started skiing a couple years later and had similar equipment.
