Just got to use a pair of 2010 Vist Cross Over's (not available yet, im not gona say what # they were becouse we went right to the factory in Italy and pulled them from an order, but who's ever they were I would like to thank you for a great time) for a week of skiing in Hintertux, Austria. I have to say they were a blast but @ almost $1800 a pair save your money, if you have it to blow then there a must, I never skied on anything better.
Great edge holding and nice radius, felt at home in the crud and really glided in the powder. They were 178/177 cant remember, and I top out fully loaded 190lbs. The binding plate is what makes this ski so userfriendly, just unlock both forward and rear binding and move them for any boot or binding, e.g. telemark, they also have micro adjustments. I think that system can be had for around $500, worth it for sure.
I think you will likely get 40 or so days at factory specs on these boards and from there it all down hill just like any other, so this alone is why I say, save your money and get something for around 8/900 dollars it hurts less.
Me, I like my Volkl Grizzly for the money, but I would still like to have a pair of Vist in my stocking......
