Wachusett runs a lift this weekend! (May 2)

Although it isn't much terrain - Wachusett is running the Vickery Bowl lift in May. As far as I know, they have never been able to run a lift this late in the year. They've been doing the Cinco de Mayo thing for awhile but it's always been hiking.

This was definitely a year for the record books.

I showed up around 1 and skied right til then bitter end, including hiking other patches (parts of smith walton etc).

Made a ski friend for the day and it was a glorious afternoon. You could ski back down to the base via the park setup they had going.

I headed North as well to Jay Peak, otherwise I would have probably gone as well. I'll certainly be going a bunch next season since it is close to me and they offer night skiing/riding.
