Yes, have to agree about Tom Day. You can see him helping out traffic flow in the unload zone in the afternoon, bussing trays in the lodge at lunch and checking out the conditions in the morning. Very hands on.

Waterville has a great village at the base. I often times come into the village at night for the fireworks, pizza hit the candy store. I 'm one of the folks that likes this region more in the Summer than the winter.
I own a place in Campton. (true trying to sell it) but very nice community feeling to this place.
One base area so great for families and they do a good job with the parks and have a lift for the pipe. Others should follow that lead. I probably wil make a few visits this year for ussa events for my son.

I thought that the team at WV did an excellent job last year making snow, opening trails and keeping the trails open. I actually thought it was better last year than it had been in several. I ski WV often. The village is a good place to kill some time at night. People who live in WV are nice. The only bad thing that I can say is that the area needs more beginner trails. If you are a newbie at WV, you have very limited and very crowder trail choices.
