Folks, some new research is in. Apparently there is some sort of parasitic organism in the waters of the Adirondacks which could be causing this disorder evidenced by the fact that some ADK skiers seem to have huge chips on their shoulders. Stage 1 which I believe is what HPD has is fully curable. Our friend tjf here seems to have progressed to Stage 2 evidenced by the increased demonstration of Internet Tough Guy attitude and overall douchebaggery. Stage 3 is uncurable. Remember those poor souls in the freeheelwilly group? Well, sadly they progressed to Stage 3. The only option unfortunately was permanent quarantining of the victims. Drastic measure perhaps, but necessary for the overall well-being of the community. Looks like these kids have contracted the disorder as well:

i'm about to get banned for life here but will offer up a comment anyway. It isn't as simple as not clicking TRs / meet ups / general discussions with Sundown in the title. For some reason, IMHO, "Sundown" seems to find its way into many other threads these days. Heck, I've probably done it myself. I can see how somebody who doesn't get to experience the joy which is Ski Sundown might be annoyed by it all.

This one touches a nerve. The people banned are friends of mine and they did go over the line in the great Battle of SKIADK, BUT so did you and 2knees. You’re not going to ban yourself and 2knees is your friend so he’s safe. IMO not fair at all. Freeheelwilly, Phinaes and Woodlandclown should be let back in SKIADK.

I get that. Totally. But, what's the solution? Ban Sundown talk? If anything is totalitarian, trying to direct the discussion in a different direction is. People should be able to discuss what they're passionate about, myself included.

I agree. I skip every post about bumps, sundown and anything i percieve to be gay.

I get some greainfo off of here from a lot of experienced skiers. When i need a little amusement I look at sally's posts.
