Several forecast models indicate that a low might develop over the western atlantic towards the end of this weekend. The jetstream is pretty well forecast to be down around the carolinas with a nice pocket of cool air sitting over the northeast at this time. If the low does develop there is a chance that the low could hook up with the get and head up over the colder air that is in place. If the timing is right we could be looking at a few inches of snow over the catskills and southern NE. The connection isn't really forecasted right now by NOAA but the chance is there.
