And don't give me Al Gore's conspiracy theories. The real reason for warm winters? (Besides God's spite) A lack of a really major volcano explosion ( Mt. St. Helens was not all that major) in a loooong ass time. We need Krakatoa to bloa, reflect the sun's rays with all that dust, and then there will be so much snow, we will be bored of it.

Then we'll be happy.

There was an article in Yahoo News yesterday about how a large scale forest fire, or groups of them could actually reverse short term global warming.

Got matches??:)

Yea I read about that somewhere. The argument was that when the western US freaks out and puts out every wildfire there is every summer we end up warming up our atmosphere. They cited huge wildfires at the turn of the century and showed how the average burned acreage has decreased by like a factor of 10. Interesting read.
However starting forest fires = worst idea ever.

I seem to recall a "bad" (good for us) winter several years ago after some volcano on the pacific rim erupted. Don't remember much of the details.

Is this what dealing with the IRS does to a person?

The other way around. Before I got into the game, the IRS used to give out free apple pies every April 15th. You know, seems like a ruined a good deal for everyone. Maybe I really need to do something about my hostility.
