I get home last night, dragging a bit, just tired, long day at work, not looking forward to the 2500yd swim i have to do at 9pm......so she turns to me and says...."ya want a little 'pick me up'???? SURE I say.....she goes into another room and comes back and hands me an envelope with a BDay card (my Bday isnt until March 7th) ...inside is "GET PACKING, You are headed to MRG on March 8/9 with your buddy Brian" The hotel is set....

She also mentioned that she was going to get me a tele lesson, but since i just got my Sugar Daddies, she'll pray for powder!!!


Stoked to finally be getting up there....pray for snow

its cool too 'cause my buddy is a Chiropractor and usually works on Saturdays, and he cleared his schedule to go....wife's been in cahoots with him on this surprise for 2 months!!!

soooo,,,,,,just went on the MRG Event Calendar, that weekend (March 8/9) is

March 8-9, 2008 31st Annual North American Telemark Festival The world's largest and oldest gathering of Telemark skiers.
Cost: Special Telemark Tickets must be purchased to participate in festival events

Soooo, anyone been up there for this....thinking its going to be crazy. Might have to hit Stowe Saturday, drive back to MRG, then ski SB or try MRG on Suday and deal with the crowds....

Mine let me have a weekend at Jay and a week in Utah with the college buddies, then a romantic weekend at Bretton Woods together, and now at her suggestion we're going to Sunday River.

And she was a keeper *before* learning to ski this winter.
