What was your best ski day of 2007-08???

March 1st at Kmart....... first tracks down the Light and then some pork and lamb. moved over to snowdon bowl and ended up launchin over some dude while flying thru the trees (his face was priceless). it just kept dumping til like noon and got deeper and deeper. hands down my best day last season........did i mention the pow?

Hmmm...I suppose the "best" was my mid-week trip to Stratton in March with a pal. It was a great day, no crowds, great snow....top notch memory.
Second would have to be the "Good Race" @ Wachusett. Race day started with a mini-blizzard, white-out conditions in the parking lot. Turned out to be heavy wet snow...and none of us had the right wax...so it was a s-l-o-w race...but it was the first of it's kind for Wa. They usually have the top 30 teams race off the summit as the fianl race of the year. Last year they held a "Good Race, for those who are good but not great" for the second 30 teams. That was us. Same trail...but they started at the mid-point. Slightly different look than the regular Night League stuff...and it was addictive!
Every member of the team subsequently upgraded gear in one way or another. Brilliant marketing!
So despite the limited numer of runs we made on the day....it was a great moment from last year.

the day before Mothers day when we woke up to 10 inches of powder at Abasin and it was still snowing!!!
