Whats your preferred mode of transportation down the mountain?

^ Actually Ski Magazine just did an article about how the explosive growth of snowboarding seems to have leveled off and that for the first time, more snowboarders are taking up skiing than the other way around (Jan 12 issue if you're interested). Sales data from the last 4 or 5 years seems to confirm that too, as snowboard sales are declining rather than growing.

Interesting, I will take a look at the article. I believe it, I grew up skiing and then switched over around 12 or 13 and have snowboarded for 13 years. For the past few years I keep saying I am going to get back on a pair of skies but haven't made it happen yet. This is the year though. I few of my friends that I grew up with have followed similar trends and are now interested in skiing at least part time.
