No it's not except I usually don't ski weekends. Mon. is forecast to be single digits again. Tues & the rest of the week are forecasted to be warmer with a chance of snow. I can wait. Besides the forecast for my area isn't that warm Sun.

  • Monday Partly sunny and cold, with a high near 2. Windy, with a west wind 24 to 32 mph.

I wish didn't ski weekends. High of 2? and windy? Hmm. Can't say I blame ya for waiting.

Plans are for Mt. Snow but I'll check the reports on the way up. If Snow doesn't end up getting as much of the goods, and K-ton looks better, I'll cruise by exit 2 and on to exit 6. I'd rather not do the drive again since I just did it yesterday but when the powder days hit, we must do what we must.

Was at Hunter today which I thought was pretty damn good for December 14th.

Got to demo a never summer with some of that new fangled rocker tech and my old camber only self actually loved it.

Will hit up camelback tomorrow.

FWIW Cannon will be tracked out like a MoFo within the first half of Sunday. While BW will hold stashes well passed Tuesday. If you can flip flop your plan you might get the best of both.

Which Never Summer did you ride? I was looking at one but when I found a sick deal on a T.Rice Pro HP I couldn't pass it up. I've only ever ridden camber boards before this one but I'm digging it. As I expected, I don't get quite the same pop as I did with my last board (Burton Custom) but I'm happy with how hard it rips while still being playful and forgiving. I'm not really a park guy, but it is really nice to finally be able to do presses.

I rode the Raptor... I currently ride a Man's board.

Took 4 runs on it and really started to like how it rode. I have a bum back knee so have been looking for something that could charge but might not be quite as much work.. The rocker between the feet seemed to make turn initiation easier, I didn't have a perfect stance set up would want to lay with that a bit. I think a bit wider than my usual stance might balance the weight better.

Edge hold was solid but conditions were pretty good. It was light, fast and stable... Could still really out it on edge and carve hard. Also seems like Id be able to play in the trees much easier. Of course it's 600 beans! But I may need to pick one up.

Stowe! Just arrived and it is starting to dump out. Thoughts of hitting MRG for opening day but I will save that for Monday assuming they will be open.

You won't be sorry. I skied Stowe yesterday (saturday). No lines and still finding powder from the snow earlier in the week.

Today should be awesome!!!

This is good advice.
