Where to get cheap Stowe lift tickets?

I would normally try eBay but we are leaving tomorrow. Do any local ski/board shops or markets sell discounted lift tickets for Stowe?

I saw this on Stowe.com: "The Mountain Dew Learn to Stowe Promotion". I would have to buy two, six packs of pepsi and a lift ticket would be $49. Fine print says I have to be a VT resident which I am not. Anyone tried this and do they ask for VT id?

No, have not. I'd try local ski shops. Hannafords also used to sell discount tix to Sugarbush and Stowe. You can try the Alpine Shop or the Ski Rack in Burlington.
