Looking foward to skiing for my first time in new york. Anyone skied here yet this season? I've been wanting to hit up WF for some time now, but it can only be this month. How does early season compare to their peak part of the season?

Early season does not compare. The upper mountain will not be open. We will have 2400 vert open. Follow the guns and you will not be disappointed.

They seem to be doing a great job this year of opening slopes.

Late this month I'd bet that parons run will be open- In the last few years they have done a great deal opening up the summit before xmas and parons is a great run. As far as now v. peak season- as with the rest of the N.E. you can great conditions or icy hard rainy conditions just about anytime. Unless you are going in the last two weeks of feb. when it's always sick you aren't at a real disadvantage.
