Smuggs...dont get me started, love Smuggs, best secret in the NE...liftlines have never been an issue, I've been in way longer lines at Stowe than smuggs, and i prefer older slower liftes, you can keep the HSQs.....give me smuggs anyday of the week...everytime i go i find more trees...

You guys gotta say a little more to substantiate your verdict. From this comment, it was dope because of the short lift lines? Not doubting it, but need more substance. Thanks.

they cant remember....too much dope....

Sorry for the delay folks. Although there was dope involved, I assure u I remember every second of the best birthday vacation ever! I know now that the people here want more than the typical late night drunk post. Which is why I am here. I am sorry I didn't give you what u crave! Smuggs is wonderful for the simple fact it is not Stratton. Although it has all the creature comforts of a "Resort" type mountain. The feeling one gets when there is anything but Walt Disney Mcdonalds. Maybe its the archaic lifts, or the fact you can hit the trees for 45 min without seeing anyone except who u came with. I'm not sure but that place has SOUL, my brothers and sisters. I was feeling one with the Mnt gods as I ripped that place from top to bottom. No asshole New yorkers, not even a snotty snowboarder to remind me that I am 32 and too old to smack someone for a wise comment, even when the really deserve it. It snowed all day when I was there, I believe they picked up 2 inches. Which as you all know is a blessing and a curse. The terrain was very puff and ridable. But the view I was treated to was only 5-6 feet in front of my face. We rode trees. What was the hardest trAIL i HAVE EVER RODE, untill the next day at SugarBush.(when we hit middle earth. it should have been called bare earth, lol)
My amazing girlfriend suprised me with a trip to the North Country. With not a word of our destination, or destinations as I came to find out. In 4 days we hit, Smuggs, Sugarbush, and the "BEAST"(lol, are u kidding me?) Killington. More tidbits to follow about it, when I am sure somebody is listening. Thanx folks, I thought I was gonna get away with feeding u guys bullshit. Now I realize u demand better. I am here to accomodate.
