i was hoping for one more day. after this week's heat followed by the rain showers this afternoon, i question if anything is left worth the drive/hike. "worth the drive/hike" is of course an individual call on what everyone's personal tolerance levels are. i am looking for a TR from kmart to see if anything is left on superstar. i don't think i can justify the hike up to tucks but i could be convinced if any trip reports come back indicating a similar amount of snow as last weekend remains. regardless, i got my first ever june skiing in and i am satisfied if that's all i get. 35 days, 37 outtings, $531 lift ticket costs, average cost of $14.35 per outting. very respectable numbers and a great season clocking in at nearly 7 months. only five more months till next season begins!

just think of it as going for a hike with skis on your back :D

heh, that's funny! that is exactly how i think of it when there is enough snow to justify the hike. if there isn't enough skis to justify the hike, it is nothing short of self torture. getting lighter touring boots next season, so hopefully that will help reduce the load.
