Until I 'm told not, I'm going to Sr. Well I'm going no matter what really. They changed the tin mountain cup to next weekend. A sign that its not good. Packs and hiking.

is the tin mountain cup, the same thing as the tin mountain round up / canned food drive in years past?

Like, Bob, I too will go to SR this evening and strap on the pack. I guess I'll loose some of the blubber!

HaHa. Yes, it is. We tried to get the World Cup involved, but apparently they weren't interested!

I make up my own stuff. I bring cans I give them to the bethel food pantry drive via Sr. I don't need the ticket. Sorry DHS. I have my own language as well.

I was wondering if they were planning on doing this again. I didn't see the can drive / lift ticket promo on their website.

It's No longer on the main page of the website - Don't know what that means .... It IS still posted on the Events Calendar saying "Bring 3 or more cans of food and ski/ride for $25"

I'd keep checking the "Full Report" Link on the front page for more recent updates

Ever Hopeful....

Fly to Denver, More resorts opening tomorrow

Get a last minute flight to Denver and enjoy great early season skiing. The resorts received more snow this week and Copper, Keystone, Breckenridge and Wolf Creek are opening to join Loveland and Arapahoe Basin.

I'm gonig to do stuff around the house. I'm holding out hope for Snow to be open around the 14th...but it's going to take some seriously cold temps later this week for that to happen.

Worse case, we wait until weekend of the 22nd...then hammer out some more turns on Thanksgiving weekend. At this point, if I can get two days on snow in November, I'll be a happy camper.

John grab your boards

The park crew will have an early-season park in place on skier's left at the base of T2. Lift service will run until 4:00PM with uploading ending at 3:00PM to allow time for downloading back to the base. This lift schedule will in place through the weekend and into next week. All skier services will be based in Barker Lodge.

Lift ticket rates will be $39 for all ages, and half-day rates will be $30.

Stay tuned here and to the Interactive Trail Map for updates on snowmaking and new terrain opening.
