West Virginia actually has some decent skiing. I hit Snowshoe a couple of years ago. It was really windy so the western territory wasn't open. They didn't appear to get enough natural snow to really make having glades a worth while option. I was surprised at the cooler climate created by the high base elevation.

This is definely brighter. Thanks for the modification. That day was really almost as bluish/gray as it looked in the original picture. It was snowing hard all day and the cluods were very heavy.:snow:

Grey skies and snow fool the white balance setting on most point and shoot digitals. A simple color balance filter on most decent image editing programs (I use Paint Shop Pro mostly) will let you strip out some of the blue.

I can't seem to find the tool to manually do this in Paintshop Pro 7.04 :dunce:
An tips on where I can find it?

Effects --> Enhance Photo --> Automatic Color Balance... (Strength: 100, Temperature: 6500-8000 [play around])

Effects --> Enhance Photo --> Automatic Contrast Enhancement... (Start with Neutral, Normal, Natural and try different combos)

After I color correct I then resize the image to my desire size (for the web, usually 1024 pixels for the long end). And then I normally apply a single Sharpen filter (Effects --> Sharpen --> Sharpen)

I've had good success with the above approach. You should see a drastic improvement in your digital images posted online.

BVIBert, that's my friend Alison. Great day. March 16th, prelift Profanity. Here's the next pic in the sequence, she basically just went under...

I hate you.

From the tub. The other pic was from the second floor window. My hair was a bit long then and awfully frozen. This fall we're thinking there
might be some more "windstorms" out in front of the house.
