My answer to that was why would anyone hike Wildcat when you can go up to Tucks or GoS.

I totally understood that Austin, it's why I responded that the only reason I could think someone would *hike* Wildcat would be if there was high avi danger in the ravine. I shouldn't have implied it, I should have added the word *hike*.

The rest of my post was just more powder babble from last week.

I have nothing but good to say about Wildcat. I skied in feet of powder for $29 a day. The lift is so fast it creates its' own wind. The terrain, which was fully skiable right from the top, is outstanding. And their woods (turns out one of the places I skied last week was the Thompson Brook drainage, thanks NHPH for the map) areas are ALOT of fun. Tight trees, but with quite a bit of stream bed areas too.

I too have nothing bad to say about Wildcat. Every time I go there I like it a little more. I have to say the staff there is great. Nothing better then walking in and being greeted by your 1st name and as noted above Breeze does a great job.
