Troy Ketcham, the Event Manager at Ski Windham, has agreed to take the AlpineZone Ski Area Challenge! This is your chance to get official answers to your ski-related questions direct from a Northeast ski resort representative! Please post some suggested questions in this thread and we'll select ten to present for official responses.

Also please don't be offended if we edit/change your question for grammar, tone, or some other minor thing. In order to get in all of the questions we MAY merge some questions but we'll do our best to keep the substance of your question. If we don't get your question in, feel free to post a follow up after we get the results...we are encouraging the representatives follow the threads.

As always, please be respectful of Troy and keep it civil. Also, please refrain from asking specifics about skier visit numbers, financials, demographic information, etc. Ski Windham needs to be discrete about certain information.

Ask away!

This Ski Magazine Article indicates that Windham, Hunter, Belleayre, and Plattkill don't work very well together to lure customers into the Catskill region. Together these 4 ski areas within 30 minutes of each other, provide a wide diversity on over 5000 feet of vertical.

Do you think there is any chance that these 4 major ski areas in the region will do a better job working together in the near future?

Wow...a week and only three questions?

I live 20 minutes away but never go.. I go to friends resturants in the town but never ski there..

The terrrain isn't really what I'm into - I prefer steeper stuff.. I DO want to get some night skiing in next year to practice tele skiing... But thats about it..
I have nothing against it... It's a wonderful place - great lodge - nice people - pretty town...

Just not my thing..

Speaking of night skiing, Will you expand night skiing further up the mountain?

Do you plan to continue to run the older chair next to the High speed chair? Even on very busy day I notice that that chair is empty and it still takes longer to reach the summit then it does wating in line for the high speed.

This must be the new High speed lift Troy was talking about.
