The thread was sorta made tongue-in-cheek. I love all those that point out that it's only the beginning of November.......like my calendar doesn't work as good as theirs.  Still - you gotta admit, last week was a major tease.

It's not that we think your calendar doesn't work, just that you don't know how to use it... ;)

Then come up with a tongue in cheek emotioncon cause it looked more like a :-( thread to me.

Killington was just fine this morning. The visibility was a bit iffy at the top but it was soft without melting.

We will continue to stay open as long as we can provide a quality top-to-bottom product. We'll see what Mother Nature has in store for the rest of the week. But like it was stated earlier in this thread, what we have right now is a bonus!

We can fire them up starting Nov 1st. As of today we have made no snow. We have a decent amount of possible coverage but usually they start at the bottom and work their way up. The world cup course is first priority and I think WC is Dec 10th. This storm, if it comes will help

Likely next Monday/Tuesday before we get Snowmaking temps back in the East :(

This is the estimated 3,000 foot flight level temps for this coming Saturday around noon. (Trust me, it's just UGLY warm air between now and then  ) (Orange/red is above frezzing temps, blues are below freezing temps)

Just look at that large, pool of cold air diving deep through the mid-section of the country. Based on previous maps/estimate, it looks like 48-72 hours for it to push through the Northeast, and then game on/guns on :snow:
