Some years I can ski late, and some years I cannot. Not sure if I'm the first but the 24/25 season for me is in the books. 35 days is down from my average. however, with the good NE winter it was more quality over quantity this year. 19 of those days were in Colorado with 3 or 4 of those in fresh snow. 7 days in Aspen alone made my Ikon more then worth the cost. Hope to do some dry land training over the summer to come into next season strong.

Day #100 today at sunday river. Despite very different ski schedules, managed to time it with 12 year old daughter's first ever day #100. It was a memorable day.

Sunday river skied pretty damn good today! Day 40 for me, and cleared 1 million tracked vertical. Hoping tomorrow morning is fun for a couple hours before it gets … not

March: 0

I was stuck at work on the few really good spring days. And when I was off I just didn't have the motivation to ski frozen corral after about 7 consecutive weeks of Utah-quality snow at Stowe.

Definitely will get 4-5 more days. Easier to find those warm sunny spring days in April. Gonna do a weekend trip next week (probably Okemo and Stowe, and maybe Jay). Then I'll day pass Killington a couple times to finish up the year.

Bummed I never got to Cannon and never got back to Magic. Such a weird year with no big storms to get the southern areas totally up to snuff. But plenty of small daily snowfalls to get northern areas very up to snuff. Definitely my best season as far as winter goes in quite a few years, but somewhat bummed March was mostly a bust.

I just assumed all of the east had an incredible year, from the Poconos through Maine, not so?

Maine has been a frustrating snow season. All that snow Northern Vermont got never made it this way. But we sure got all the wind.

no. most of the stretch of amazing conditions in december and january was confined to vermont north of I-89, and if south of 89 above 2500 feet. like stratton skied beautifully while magic had no snow, and jay and bolton skied all time while sugarbush was kinda thin. nh and maine did not get in on the action til february. they were struggling.

After a 3 week hiatus, I finally got back on skis. The snow was perfect spring conditions and there was nobody there. Because of the wind, the bubble and Green Peak were closed so the Valley and Sunnyside operated instead. All the trails beside Gema had plenty of snow, although we did find enough on it to ski the right side of the trail. The bumps on Bobby’s were a lot of fun too!
