Sorry for that, I edited the post--is it better now? It previewed and displayed fine for me the way it was (i.e., with the HTML)--maybe you have HTML turned off in your settings.

To be honest I forgot there was a HTML setting... Yes it is off, which I think is the default, so I bet most people have it off as well. I guess I was wrong, you don't NEED to use BBCode to post pics, but more people are likely to see it I think...
