Your obsessed with skiing when......

you have a work meeting 40min away from a mountain, so you throw all your equipt in the car, and wear your base layers under your dress clothes. get to the mountain at 2:30 and ski right up till the last lift at 4pm..

FYI.. the snow at jiminy was AWSOME yesterday... even though it was man made it felt like apcked powder, no bare spots.. it was mint

Man, Last Febuary, I had a Nightmare I was at Sugarbush South and that it was Thawed Out, and that Stiens was completely Gone even after the 4 days of continuous snowmaking on it the week before, and that I was talking to the guy, and he was saying that they were also planing on closing up for the season at M/E that day. Then I was explaning to him something to the extent of K-MART has 200 trails open or something or another and that I would just go there. Thats All I rember of that, thankfully, and well After I woke up that morning, I had a very frantic urge to check the Sugarbush Snow Report

Man feels alot like last week.....

I have dreams about skiing all the time during the summer. Some are good. Some are bad. The bad ones usually have something to do with me missing some of my ski gear. I had a dream where I was "skiing" down the mountin with just my boots on, going over jumps and everything. That was kind of weird.
I've had nightmares where my ski is like falling apart after hitting a rock, not like a core shot but where the ski is splintering into several pieces. I woke up very disturbed.

-Any physical activity you do during the summer, you think about how it will help prepare you for skiing
-You look down stairs and think about steep and narrow lines that you like.
-The most anticipated film of the year for you is the release of the next MHF movie.

when two friends from different groups ask you to go skiing on the same day, one for day skiing and one for night skiing, and you say YES to both of them... get to the mountain for first chair in the morning, and after switching mountains ski till last chair at night..!!

Good man. I was close to doing this earlier in the season. When my conditioning improves a bit I'm all for a marathon like that.

When your wife and children give you a hard time for spending so much money on season passes during the summer and fall but then when the ski season rolls around, they appreciate the ability to ski on a particular day without having to pay for a lift ticket.

After skiing today, January 7th, you come away from most any mountain in New England with still a hint of a smile on your face...

-what goggles should i use?

you jump on a midsize rock at the park on Sunday in shorts while your kids are on the swings and jump off pretending you're hucking off a waterfall.....
