I never heard of Keak da Sneak...Lil Wayne has a sa weet flow..I love to blast a good hype song when I'm booting up. I've been listening to Snoop Doggs The Blue Carpet Treatment alot lately..

Keak da Sneak makes an appearance in the E-40 song "Tell Me When to Go". Not bad stuff, he's got kind of a different style . . . a lot of people either hate 'em or love 'em.

Damn you friggin hippies! The one thing I couldn't stand about college in Maine/skiing at Sugarloaf was all the BS jam band crap.

I'll go with something cool like some Fu Manchu, Brant Bjork, Queens Of The Stone Age. Maybe something mellow like Gram Parsons on the ride home.

True Dat..at UVM I heard so much second hand Phish, Rusted Root, and the local band..Organic Groove Farmers.

Here's some lyrics from one of my favorite ski songs from a ski video from the early 90s...

I never wanted more than a bodyjam
I never took more than my share
So give me a game and a reason baby I'll be there
So you burn and you burn and you know that it's no cry
Might take forever or it might be just a matter of time
All I ever wanted was everything..everything
All I ever wanted was one step over the line
I never said I wanted your money
I never said I wanted your time
All I ever wanted was true love and I've got mine
ding ding ding dad dad dad dad
Every all I ever wanted was everything
da da da

Hey, I resemble that statement

As for me, Eyes of the World, the one from 10/17/1994 specifically

To me it's a song about having total clarity with your soul and being as one with your surroundings. That's the feeling I get when skiing, especially when charging through the empty woods in deep powder when you can hardly hear anything at all.

Slow Down, by Morcheeba.
Its a great R& B tune, that reminds me to slow down in life and savour every minute!

When you listen to it you'll think, why would you listen to that and ski, but then you have it on your ipod while you ski and say, "ahhhhh, that does have a nice flow to skiing and nature"

"Eyes of the World" from Winterland 10/19/1974 is my favorite tune on the way to the mountain in the morning

Isn't that by Gratetful Dead? Good tune!

Yeah, that's a Dead tune. 1974 was a good year for Eye's of the World. My favorite eyes was on 8/6/1974 at Roosevelt Stadium. The day before Nixon resigned, great vibe in the air. They kind of ended that eyes a bit abruptly so Bobby could yell at some guy in the audience who was climbing up a fence. I often listen to that when I'm skiing.

Here is the Eye's I'm talking about. Whoever edited this tape cut out most of Bobby yelling at the end. A travesty! It's these moments that make a show so special! Bobby eventually yells "DON'T CLIMB ON THE FENCE...IDIOT!!!!"

Hey...if you're into the Dead, you should check out AZ's very own Grateful Thread.
I don't think we have any females replying to that thread.
