Hit up Magic on the 27th. Love the mountain, everyone is very friendly and hooked up some good directions to some slackcountry. Will definitely go back there.

Hiked K last Thanksgiving... there was a good amount of snow all over the mountain, definitely could have opened if "they" felt like it.

That's true but mainly just at K1. Start the day on Skyeship and hit up the South Ridge for some untracked, quiet, secluded goodnes..

it is really not that difficult or a rat race to find untracked. a little hiking a little exploring and usually there is powder a plenty. i can guarantee i find fresh this weekend at k without any issue.

so many idiots on the mountain it seems this winter, maybe it is because we just got past a holiday period...people also need to know how to hold a consistent line and also not make race turns down narrow trails...
