Do you ever ditch wearing a helmet? For example, if it's really warm out?

In warmer weather, why not just ski in a bike helmet

I've worn a helmet for 17 ish yrs now and spent probably 500 days on skis during that time. The only time I can recall ever not wearing a helmet was back in 2010 when I skied Ragged the 1st wknd in April. It was an insane early season heat wave and no joke temps were 80 on the mtn....had a ton of fun splashing through the bumps on Showboat off Spear Mtn.
Tickets were only $10 that day for their final wknd.

I ditched the helmet in favor of my Saddleback hat

Obviously , this question only applies to those that normally DO wear a helmet

i used to but not any more. remove ear flaps for hot days.

Trees and objexts are just as hard on impact regardless of conditions.
Plus in the spring, when I start to get in a groove I find myself jumping off stuff and inturn wrecking. My helmets are quite comfy and vent very well.
My current helmet is a Smith Varience.

No, I just remove the ear flaps in warm weather.
