Boarder here. Skied in high school and college, then did not ski much for a lot of years. Got back into it when my son was in Jr. High back in '98, we both took snowboard lessons. Have not been back on skis since. I keep saying I will try them again but haven't yet. Maybe this season. I keep thinking that as I am getting along in years (and more brittle) the skis maybe better but then again maybe not. I regard to bindings I have ride Flow, nothing easier than those. Those other ones look nice but I'm thinking they may get clogged up with snow and ice.

I never thought it was a big deal to unstrap/restrap to get on/off the lifts, but I guess if you're used to just going it would be a more noticable inconvenience.

Or do like me and unstrap while gliding to and from the lift....problem solved :) Took a bit to master the balance needed but once its dialed in its easy. I ride with skiers a lot and have no problems with em waiting
