So......did anyone here by a Jay season pass? Any trips planned to Jay this year?
I have 7 days to use but no pass as it's just too far to totally commit and.lodging options are kind of pricey. I'll cherry pick midweek days when it's right.

Sorry. I consider myself duly chastised for merely posting an EB5 project. That article is mostly previously announced information. And I wonder -

The project is financed by 40 foreign investors through the federal EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. Each investor puts forward at least $800,000, not only funding the construction, but creating as many as 400 jobs.

My understanding is EB5 requires permanent jobs, not short term construction jobs. How will these 92 proposed units create 400 permanent jobs?

Yes, I was ribbing you.

As to the job requirement, it can be satisfied by jobs created indirectly or jobs that were saved from being lost (IIRC).

I'll likely be doing Feb school vacation there this upcoming season with 2 Jay, 2 Burke and a PQ area thrown in
If it coincides with either Vermont, or especially Canada, you may want to reconsider. Especially if it's Canada.

Source: I made that oops without checking once. Once; because it's not a mistake you'll make twice.

Lift lines and crowds that bad? NH school vacation week is the week following Presidents week. So, after Mass and most other states. We've gone several places that week over the years. Stowe, Attitash/Wildcat, Saddleback a few times. The first weekend is typically busy on the Saturday and then from Sunday on it's been not bad at all. We'd probably hit Burke on that busy Saturday on our way up.

I haven’t been a Jay Peak season passholder in a while, but unless there is only rainy weather forecasted for the Canadian break it’s a mess. Don’t think of it as a crowded vacation week skiing Killington, think of it more like flying from Logan Airport on a busy day, but no-one has ever traveled before. The US vacation weeks I wouldn’t worry about (other than the weekend overlap) any more than any other NE area.

Never had an issue any where in the NE with NH school vaca week. Burke has always been ski on for that week. Once on a Wednesday that week we were 1 of 10 cars in the parking lot.

Yeah I was at Stowe this past winter during NH/VT vacation week and there were a few more families with young kids than usual, but definitely far from busy.

Jay during Canadian week in March can be a bit more rough. Was much more crowded there two years ago when I hit it that week than it was last year when I was there on a weekend mid season.
