Nature Break while skiing

Andy, are you suggesting that I ski so hard that i take the urine out of my bladder and evaporate it through the pores of my skin? mmmm...

I was at Sunapee some time ago when the urge struck. So I skied over into the woods, pretty far in too - barely visible - and started doing my business. Next thing I know some a-hole comes to a stop on the slope, peeks into the woods and starts yelling at me "Hey! You! You can't do that! Hey! Get out of there! Go use a bathroom!" It was some angry older dude, not ski patrol or mountain employee or anything. Is it illegal to urinate in the woods?

Of course and most of the time i put it away to soon if you know what i mean

I rarely have to pee so bad while skiing that I need to use the woods. The few times that I have I removed my skis.

Not necessarily so. I'm a huge hydrator, and though I tend to be able to wait for an actual restroom of some kind, 72 oz's of water during the day is probably more than I can/will sweat out, or aspirate.

Don't aspirate any water, it'll make you cough somethin awful. Or just choke and die.

Okay, its possible, in fact probable that I used the wrong word, but......when you breath, which is something I highly recommend when you are skiing, your breath contains water, moisture, and that leads to some of the dehydration factor.

I take my skis off and use the wet finger for wind direction.

I try not to piss on my fingers.

From a lifetime around boats, I have a pretty good understand of the meaning of the phrase "pissing into the wind".

I don't know if or what the medical term for dehydration via moisture loss in your breath is, but to aspirate means to inhale a foreign substance into your lungs, typically a fluid of some type. It's always bad, whenever it happens.

And coincidentally, any time one exhales, fluid is lost. Since, ya know, gases and liquids are both considered fluids.

Next time I fart I'm just going to tell someone I experience some fluid loss.

I did work at a chemical plant for almost two years. I can also glow in the dark for any of you interested ladies out there.

Back on topic.... I pee with my skis on all the time, and have no problem avoiding them.

Most ski areas prefer if you don't bring your skis into the lodge, let alone wearing them into the bathroom. :roll: Next time you do that around me I'm going to pretend that I don't know you, again.

I can't say I've ever had to pee in the woods while skiing. Though I did have to while running a week ago. On the slopes, though, I hold it for the restroom. I don't exactly have the equipment to make it all that easy to pee while standing up, after all.
