I only started texting recently. $0.20/text, $0.25/picture text. I don't have a texting plan because I don't send enough of them to warrant it. But for the most part, I call or email instead.

I meant to type in that i have about "3000" texts/month...im sucha loser.

My kids text each other in the house and they also text me to say goodnight when they are upstairs.

I dont think its unhealthy...believe me, they talk alot also.

It's crazy how kids today all have cell-phones..even 10 year olds..

Last year I went kayak camping on one of the Norwalk Islands with a friend and some of his GF's friends - they came in by boat.
We're all hanging out on this island by the bonfire and for what seemed like the whole night, one of the GF's friends was texting... constantly. Dunno, just seemed weird. You'd think that if you're texting someone so much, wouldn't you rather just be with them then instead of camping on the island? Or maybe if they were with the person they were texting... would they just be texting their friends on the island?

Yea i know...they both got theirs when they were 10 going on 11 and starting middle school...its good for me to find them and keep tabs on them.

I got a cell phone when i got my license, and then it was only a prepaid cell phone, with the absolutely fewest minutes possible to call for help if I crashed.

All my neighbors kids have cell phones, and it is just pathetic. They should not have the phones on them in school.

:flame:I used to think talking on cell phones in the restroom was about as low as you could go.

:uzi:Last week, I went in the bathroom, did my business and noticed "click, click click". I determined there was a fellow texting/emailing on his blackberry in the stall.

I came back 10 minutes later to washout my lunch dishes, he was still in there "click click click". :-o

I think they should combine GPS with your signature, Instead of "sent from my blackberry" or "sent from my iphone", how about "sent from the Men's room, floor three."????

Maybe the clicking was Larry Craig tapping his foot under the stall trying to get peoples attention.

I have to admit, I am a crackberry head, never leave home with out it. It is so bad, I am constantly checking my phone email, text, web, etc... Starting to annoy myself.
