If they had lift access mountain biking, I might go there..as long as they didn't turn the dirt into sand or something.

I think Gorgonzola has a timeshare in that..apparently it will be really nice with an indoor waterpark..

X2, any news on construction progress? I guess the original construction financing fell through and a new loan package just put in place a few weeks ago. I'm bummed since we were planning on spending alot of time up there this season but everything pushed back a year. Probably won't even bother hitting the skier's picnic this year...

They've talked about it but I'm not holding my breath. That's OK though as there is what some consider among some of the best singletrack in the east about about 20 minutes away at Shindagin.

Blue is also planning on both XC and lift assisted mtb on the mountain

What, no picnic??? That thing is a blast!!! Buddy of mine is on the board at Greek and just tueday was telling me all the monies have been secured so constuction will resume quickly. The new units and hotel should be kick ass!!!! PM me when you're up skiing

will do. we were up last year for the picnic and had a blast. i'm just a little bitter about losing this season up there since one of the factors for buying the place was use with the kids and my oldest daughter will be going off to college in a few years. I was hoping they'd comp us a few days at least for hanging in there but its not looking too good, don't know if i'll even make it up this year now.

Jeez I can't believe they're not throwing you a few bones for stickin' with them. To me that seems like poor biz....don't blame you for being pissed!!!! I'll talk to my buddy to see if there's anything that can be done.

I know the Kregers have a lot of local support simply because this "attraction", if you will, should bring some well needed $$$ into this area. Hang in there I don't think it will be long now.

I'm gonna email them this weekend , hopefully can salvage at least a little bit of season up there..... I really enjoy it alot every time i go up there and want to keep a positive outlook on the whole situation
