TR: Mount Jefferson October 4 2008

3 months to the day since our last day of skiing. 1.5 hours from our new apt to mt jeff trailhead.

new snowblades.

new snow

boots on

and so it begins!

i may have eaten some too

the ski lodge was really nice too

great scenery. very cool to see near peak foliage in the valley from our perch amidst a snowy landscape. a unique experience to say the least

that was sliding and rubbing and bumping on mostly ROCK, not snow. Ouch!! It looks like you enjoyed it, so that's cool, but I'd wait for another foot or three before making turns up there.
