Anybody heading over to the mighty Sundown tomorrow? I haven't been skiing since 12/23 so I NEED to get out there! I'm thinking sometime during the late morning, but if I can get my lazy ass out of bed earlier, I'll try to get there earlier. I'd like to avoid as much vacation crowds as possible.

I'll be there around opening and plan on skiing until about lunch time or when it gets crowded, which ever comes first.

Should us gapers act like we don't know you if your wife it there?:D

Ha. Speaking of gapers, today was like Gaper New Year. I've never seen so many rental skis. Uber lift stoppage too.

Jeff, what constitutes "crowded" at Ski Sundown for you? i was there today, anything other than "ski on" was annoying to me :)

i told my wife it was crowded today but i don't think i waited more then 5 minutes in any lift line.

i might head over for a few runs in the early afternoon. depends on what family plans get developed between now and then.

You haven't seen crowded. A few times last year during holiday week, the main lot was full and they were pretty far into the overflow lot. Lines at lift one were probably 15 minutes. That was a day for the singles line, but I think lift 2 might have been down. I'm not sure. Today wasn't crowded at all in comparison.

Hey! I learned to ski on New Year's Day 2004! :p

I'm going to try to get up there early tomorrow... but I can't guarantee it won't be more enticing to stay late in bed instead. Hope to see some of you tomorrow!
