I found this Inn's website online, they were offering good deals on the room with a lift ticket so I made a reservation. I stayed in a great room on the lake with a ticket to Whiteface for $119 for two nights and a lift ticket! The snow at Whiteface was great and this Inn was one of the nicest and least expensive. The guy at the front desk show me all the deals for the winter and I couldn't believe the great deal on the tix and room...check out the link to this place.....

Yea I met Dan and Doug, they were great! Felt like being at home, they told me where to go to dinner, and what watering holes were good. I also didn't know this but when I got there it was right on the lake, and next time I can bring my snowmobile and hit all the trails from this place.

Hey ski2di, welcome to the forum. I see you joined yesterday. What have you been skiing this year? How are Cloudspin and Niagara skiing. I hear everyone's been raving about how good The Slides are skiing. What did you think? When were you there and what did you pay? On perusing the web page, $79 does not seem like that great a deal.

What's your problem? Maybe he just likes the place.

$79 for 2 nights lodging and a free lift ticket is a pretty good deal. That's the price of a weekend/holiday lift ticket, so basically the lodging is free.

79 is restricted early season only, sunday to thursday check in, double occupancy, no skiing sunday. so it's 158 for 2. Early season tickets are $55. Lodging comes out to $48, which is not free.

Whiteface deals

I just joined this site and thought it was interesting that someone else stayed at this place as well. I didn't know that I would be given such a hard time telling folks about a good deal on a place that I stayed last weekend....that's what I thought this was about?!

No worries, people are just giving you hard time because there only seems to be one thing that you're pushing. Post a Trip Report of your time at Whiteface, and all will be forgiven.

you should post this over on the whiteface board andy started. Its www.nschat.net. Its a fascinating interaction of characters seemingly obsessed with comparing their 3,100 vert mountain with a tiny little feeder hill in ct. The whole circus is headed by the ringmaster andyzee. Andy doesnt really know how to ski but that doesnt stop him from talking a good game, something that comes naturally to most of the posters over there.

anyway, good luck with your quest and long live da' face.

Well said, St. 2knees, patron saint of pseudo self-righteous douchebags everywhere. Way to keep alienating posters everywhere. PS. Defend your comments, dickhead.
